Dr. Jihad A. Mustapha, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is an interventional cardiologist and nationally recognized specialist in peripheral vascular disease, endovascular intervention, and limb preservation. A major focus of Dr. Mustapha’s work has been improving treatment options for patients with advanced peripheral artery disease who may be at risk for limb loss. Through advanced endovascular techniques and a multidisciplinary approach to vascular care, he has worked to expand minimally invasive treatment options for complex arterial disease and promote limb preservation whenever clinically appropriate.

 

Dr. Mustapha completed extensive cardiovascular and interventional training, including advanced education in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and peripheral vascular intervention. His clinical background encompasses complex endovascular procedures, peripheral angiography, atherectomy, angioplasty, stenting, chronic total occlusion treatment, and other catheter-based therapies used in the management of vascular disease.
